Trailer Hitch: Service and Repair
Trailer HitchRemoval and Installation 1.
Remove the rear bumper. For additional information, refer to Bumpers
Service and Repair.
2.
Disconnect the trailer light/brake electrical connector.
3.
Remove the
trailer hitch bolts and remove the trailer hitch.

To install, tighten to 175 Nm (129 lb-ft).
4.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
