Wiper Blade and Pivot Arm Adjustment

1. Cycle and park the wipers.

2. NOTE: Make sure there is no mechanical binding in the linkage preventing the wiper arms from returning to the fully parked position.

Verify the distance between the center of the passenger wiper blade and the bottom of the windshield glass is within specifications.





3. Verify the distance between the center of the driver wiper blade and the bottom of the windshield glass is within specifications.





4. NOTE: The alignment key is used for production only. The alignment key does not need to be reinstalled.

If the distance is not within specifications, remove the wiper pivot arm and with a flat-blade screwdriver, remove the alignment key (if equipped). Reposition the wiper pivot arm to specifications. For additional information, refer to Wiper Pivot Arms Wiper Pivot Arm.
