Driver Seat Module (DSM)









Removal and Installation

NOTICE: Electronic modules are sensitive to static electrical charges. If exposed to these charges, damage may result.

NOTE: Prior to the removal of the module, it is necessary to upload the module configuration information to a scan tool. This information must be downloaded into the new Driver Seat Module (DSM) after installation. For additional information, refer to Module Configuration Testing and Inspection.

1. Remove the driver seat. For additional information, refer to Seating Seat - Front.

2. Remove the 2 screws.
- To install, tighten to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).

3. Disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the DSM.

4. NOTE: Once the module is installed it is necessary to download the module configuration information from the scan tool into the new DSM. For additional information, refer to Module Configuration Testing and Inspection.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
