Fuel Conditioning Module - 6.7L Diesel













Disassembly

1. Remove the drain plug.

2. Remove the water-in-fuel sensor.

3. NOTE: Depending on the amount of the O-ring seal swelling, removal of the fuel filter cover may be noisy and require some effort.

Remove the fuel filter cover.

- Remove the O-ring seal from the fuel conditioning module housing.

4. Remove and discard the fuel filter.

5. Remove the 2 bolts, the 2 spacers and the fuel conditioning module housing.

Assembly

1. Install the fuel conditioning module housing, the 2 spacers and the 2 bolts.
- Tighten to 5 Nm (44 lb-in).

2. Lubricate the O-ring seal with clean engine oil and install the new fuel filter.

3. Install the O-ring seal on the fuel conditioning module housing and lubricate with clean engine oil.

4. Install the filter cover.
- Tighten the filter cover until it contacts the mechanical stops.

5. Lubricate the O-ring seal with clean engine oil and install the water-in-fuel sensor.
- Tighten to 5 Nm (44 lb-in).

6. Lubricate the O-ring seal with clean engine oil and install the drain plug hand tight.
