Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC)









Removal

1. If installing a new IPC, upload the IPC configuration information to the scan tool. For additional information, refer to Module Configuration Programmable Module Installation (PMI).

2. Remove the upper instrument panel center finish panel. For additional information, refer to Instrument Panel and Console Instrument Panel Finish Panel.

3. If equipped with an automatic transmission, apply the parking brake and place the selector level in one of the low ranges.

4. Lower the steering wheel tilt adjustment to the lowest position.

5. Pull the lower instrument panel steering column cover out to release the retaining clips and remove the cover.

6. Remove the 4 screws and the IPC finish panel.
- If equipped, disconnect the electrical connectors.

7. Remove the 2 screws and the IPC.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors.

Installation

1. Position the IPC in the instrument panel, connect the electrical connector and install the 2 screws.

2. If equipped, connect the electrical connectors, position the IPC finish panel and install the 4 screws.

3. Install the lower instrument panel steering column cover.

4. If equipped with an automatic transmission, place the selector level in PARK (P).

5. Install the upper instrument panel center finish panel. For additional information, refer to Instrument Panel and Console Instrument Panel Finish Panel.

6. If installing a new IPC, download the IPC configuration information from the scan tool into the new IPC. For additional information, refer to Programmable Module Installation (PMI) in Module Configuration Programmable Module Installation (PMI).
