1. NOTE: To prevent setting DTCs, make sure the ignition switch is in the OFF position prior to disconnecting the accelerator pedal electrical connectors.

NOTE: The brake pedal and the accelerator pedal must be indexed when installing a new cable or a new adjustable pedal motor and bracket assembly.

NOTE: Index the adjustable pedal assemblies. For additional information, refer to Hydraulic Brake Actuation Service and Repair.
