B-Pillar Trim Panel - Crew Cab

Removal and Installation

NOTICE: Left side shown, right side similar.

1. NOTICE: To avoid damage to the scuff plate trim panel, remove any retaining clips from the body and attach them to the scuff plate trim panel before installing.

Remove the front and rear door opening scuff plate trim panel.

- Lift the door opening scuff plate trim panel upward to release the retaining clips.

2. Position front seat(s) to the full forward position.

3. Position the front and rear door opening weatherstrips aside.





4. NOTICE: Inspect the shoulder safety belt guide and cover for damage. If the shoulder safety belt guide or cover is damaged, install a new shoulder safety belt guide or cover.

Remove the shoulder safety belt guide.

1. Pull out and remove the shoulder safety belt guide cover.

2. Remove the shoulder safety belt guide bolt.
- To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).

3. Remove the shoulder safety belt guide.





5. Remove the safety belt anchor bolt.
- To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).





6. Remove the B-pillar lower restraint bezel.

7. Remove the lower B-pillar trim panel.
- Route the front safety belt and the shoulder safety belt guide through the lower B-pillar trim panel.





8. Remove the upper B-pillar trim panel.

1. Remove the B-pillar trim panel bolt covers.

2. Remove the 2 B-pillar trim panel bolts.
- To install, tighten to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).

3. Remove the upper B-pillar trim panel.





9. NOTICE: To avoid damage to the B-pillar trim panel, remove any retaining clips from the body and attach them to the B-pillar trim panel before installing.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
