2011 Fiesta

ISSUE
Some 2011 Fiesta vehicles equipped with an automatic transmission built on or before 6/28/2010 or equipped with a manual transmission built on or before 7/30/2010 may exhibit a rolling idle condition when idling in drive gear position with the A/C turned on. This condition may exist when operating at elevated ambient temperatures above 80 Fahrenheit (26.7 Celsius) and/or when operating at high altitude above 8000 feet (2438 meters).

ACTION
Reprogram the powertrain control module (PCM) to the latest calibration using IDS release 68.06 and higher. This new calibration is not included in the VCM 2010.7 DVD. Calibration files may also be obtained at the website.
