Removal and Installation
1. Remove the driver air bag module. For additional information, refer to Supplemental Restraint System Driver Air Bag Module.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector.
3. Remove the 4 screws and the steering wheel bezel box.
4. Remove the steering wheel bezel box.
1. Remove the 4 screws.
2. Release the top 2 tabs.
3. Release the bottom 2 tabs.
5. NOTICE: Lightly hand-tighten the screws. Do not use power tools. Failure to follow this instruction may result in damage to the steering wheel switch bezel or the steering wheel bezel box.
Remove the 4 screws and separate the steering wheel switch bezel from the steering wheel bezel box.
- Make sure not to break the tabs on the bezels.
6. Remove the 2 screws and the cruise control switch.
7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Make sure the bezels are aligned correctly with the steering wheel.
