Removal

Transaxle

1. NOTICE: Do not drain the oil when removing the engine to service the transaxle.

NOTE: Inspect the plug and washer for damage and install a new plug if necessary.

To remove the transaxle, follow the engine removal procedure. For additional information, refer to Engine - Removal. Before removing the engine and transaxle from the vehicle, remove the drain plug and drain the transmission fluid.

- To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
