Wheel Speed Sensor - Front, Four Wheel Drive (4WD)













Removal and Installation

1. Remove the brake disc shield. For additional information, refer to Front Disc Brake Brake Disc Shield.

2. Disconnect the wheel speed sensor electrical connector.

3. Remove the wheel speed sensor harness bolt and unclip the retainers.
- To install, tighten to 15 Nm (133 lb-in).

4. Remove the wheel speed sensor bolt and the wheel speed sensor.
- To install, tighten to 18 Nm (159 lb-in).

5. NOTE: Plug the sensor cavity and thoroughly clean the sensor mounting surface. Apply a light coating of the specified grease to the mounting surface.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
