Normal Operation
The voltage required for correct sensor cluster operation is between 7 and 17 volts. Battery voltage is supplied to the sensor cluster from the ABS module along circuit 7-CF67 (YE/RD). Ground is provided to the sensor cluster through the ABS module along circuit 9-CF67 (BN/RD). The sensor cluster communicates with the ABS module over a dedicated Controller Area Network (CAN) bus, circuits 4EC-12 (GY/RD) and 5EC-12 (BU/RD).
This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
- Wiring, terminals or connectors
- ABS module
- Stability control sensor cluster
- Stability control sensor cluster calibration
