Power Steering Fluid Cooler













Removal and Installation

NOTICE: While repairing the power steering system, care should be taken to prevent the entry of foreign material or failure of the power steering components may result.

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to Jacking and Lifting Service and Repair.

2. Disconnect the return hose from the power steering fluid reservoir.

3. Remove the 4 retainers and the lower radiator sight shield.

4. Detach the pressure and return line retainer from the pressure line and return hose.

5. Using the Spring Lock Coupling Disconnect Tool, separate the return hose from the cooler line.





6. Remove the 2 bolts and the power steering cooler.
- To install, tighten to 3 Nm (27 lb-in).

7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
