Removal

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.

2. Disconnect the Output Shaft Speed (OSS) sensor connector.





3. NOTE: Prior to removing the OSS (Output Shaft Speed), make sure that the area around the sensor is free of foreign material to prevent contamination of the transmission.

Remove the OSS (Output Shaft Speed) sensor.

1. Remove the bolt.

2. Remove the OSS (Output Shaft Speed) sensor.






Installation

1. Install the OSS (Output Shaft Speed) sensor.
1. Lubricate the O-ring with transmission fluid and install the OSS (Output Shaft Speed) sensor.

2. Install the bolt.
- Tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).







2. Connect the OSS (Output Shaft Speed) sensor connector.
