Wiring Harness: Service and Repair

Internal Harness Service

Removal

1. Remove the solenoid body. For additional information, refer to Solenoid Body Assembly Automatic Transaxle/Transmission - TorqShift(R).

2. Disconnect the transmission internal wiring harness.
1. Remove the 2 screws.

2. Disconnect the Transmission Fluid Temperature (TFT) sensor connector.

3. Disconnect the solenoid connectors.






3. Remove the solenoid body connector O-ring.





4. Lift the tab twisting the solenoid body connector, and push it through the solenoid body, and remove the harness.

Installation

1. Push the solenoid body connector through the transmission solenoid body, twist it to lock it in place.

2. Connect the transmission internal wiring harness.
1. Install the 2 screws.

2. Connect the TFT (Transmission Fluid Temperature) sensor connector.

3. Connect the solenoid connectors.






3. NOTE: The O-ring must be installed in the top slot.

Install a new solenoid body electrical connector O-ring.






4. Install the solenoid body. For additional information, refer to Solenoid Body Assembly Automatic Transaxle/Transmission - TorqShift(R).
