Removal and Installation

1. Remove the heater core and evaporator core housing. For additional information, refer to Heater Core And Evaporator Core Housing .

2. Disconnect the air inlet mode door actuator electrical connector.

3. Remove the cabin air filter cover and the cabin air filter (if equipped) or air inlet screen (if equipped).

4. Remove the 5 fresh air inlet duct screws.

5. Detach the 4 fresh air inlet duct clips and remove the fresh air inlet duct.

6. Remove the 7 air inlet duct screws.

7. Remove the air inlet duct.

8. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
