Removal
1. Remove the wheel and tire.
2. NOTICE: Do not allow the brake caliper and anchor plate assembly to hang from the brake hose or damage to the hose can occur.
Remove the brake caliper anchor plate bolts and position the brake caliper and anchor plate assembly aside.
- Support the caliper and anchor plate assembly using mechanic's wire.
3. Remove the brake disc.
Installation
1. NOTICE: Do not apply anti-seize to wheel studs or incorrect tightening of the wheel nuts may occur.
Using the specified brake parts cleaner, clean and dry the brake disc-to-wheel hub mounting surface, then apply a thin coat of the specified anti-seize where indicated.
2. NOTE: Make sure the brake disc is clean and free of any foreign material.
Install the brake disc.
3. Position the brake caliper and anchor plate assembly and the brake caliper anchor plate bolts.
- Tighten to 133 Nm (98 lb-ft).
4. Install the wheel and tire.
- Apply brakes several times to verify correct brake operation.
