Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor













Removal and Installation

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.

2. Disconnect the Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor electrical connector.

3. Using a tool like KD Tool #58181 or Lisle T25 Torx Bit, remove the screw and the MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) sensor.
- To install, tighten to 3 Nm (27 lb-in).


4. NOTE: Lubricate the MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) sensor O-ring seal with clean engine oil.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
