Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor
Removal
1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
2. Disconnect the Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor electrical connector.
3. Remove the bolt and the CKP (Crankshaft Position) sensor.
Installation
1. Inspect the O-ring seal and install new as necessary.
2. NOTE: Lubricate the CKP (Crankshaft Position) sensor O-ring seal with clean engine oil.
Install the CKP (Crankshaft Position) sensor and bolt.
- Tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
3. Connect the CKP (Crankshaft Position) sensor electrical connector.
4. Using the scan tool, perform the Misfire Monitor Neutral Profile Correction procedure, following the on-screen instructions.
