Diagnostic Overview
The Memory-Stored Feedback Chime Is Inoperative
Normal Operation and Fault Conditions
REFER to Memory-Stored Feedback Chime .
Pinpoint Test
1. CHECK THE KEY-IN-IGNITION WARNING CHIME OPERATION
1. Ignition OFF.
2. On vehicles without IA (Intelligent Access), place the ignition in the OFF position with the key in the ignition lock cylinder.
3. On vehicles with IA (Intelligent Access), place the ignition in the ACC state.
4. Open the LH (Left Hand) front door and observe the key-in-ignition warning chime operation.
Does the key-in-ignition warning chime operate correctly?
2. CHECK THE MEMORY SET FEATURE
1. Verify the memory set procedure can successfully change the memory preferences.
Does the memory set procedure successfully change the memory preferences?
3. RETRIEVE THE RECORDED DTCs (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) FROM THE DSM (Driver Seat Module) SELF-TEST
1. Using a scan tool, perform the DSM (Driver Seat Module) self-test.
Is DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code) U0140 recorded?
