Removal

1. NOTE: To prevent setting DTCs (Diagnostic Trouble Codes), make sure the ignition switch is in the OFF position prior to disconnecting the accelerator pedal electrical connector.
Disconnect the accelerator pedal sensor electrical connector.

2. Remove the 3 accelerator pedal and sensor bolts.

3. Remove the accelerator pedal and sensor assembly.

Installation

1. Install the accelerator pedal and sensor assembly and the 3 bolts.
- Tighten to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).

2. Connect the accelerator pedal sensor electrical connector.
