Seat Cushion Cover - Front, Center

Removal and Installation

NOTE: For parts identification and location, refer to Seat - Exploded View, Front, Center Seat - Exploded View, Front, Center.

1. Remove the seat. For additional information, refer to Seat- Front, Center Seat - Front, Center.

2. Remove the rear cupholder.
- Remove the 2 rear cupholder screws.

- If equipped, disconnect the power point electrical connector.


3. Remove the RH side shield.
- Release the pin-type retainer.


4. Remove the LH side shield.
- Remove the 2 LH side shield screws.

- Release the pin-type retainer.


5. Remove the 2 cushion pivot bolts and cushion assembly.
- To install, tighten to 35 Nm (26 lb-ft).


6. Remove the 2 cushion release handle screws and cushion release handle.

7. NOTICE: Use care when separating the seat cushion cover from the hook-and-loop strip, or the hook-and-loop strip can be torn from the cushion foam pad.
Release the J-clip, invert the cushion cover and remove.


8. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
