Removal and Installation

1. Drain the diesel powertrain secondary cooling system. For additional information, refer to Engine Cooling System - Secondary Cooling.

2. Disconnect the fuel cooler fuel hose quick connect fittings.

3. Release the clamps and disconnect the coolant hoses.

4. Remove the 3 nuts and the fuel cooler.
- To install, tighten to 20 Nm (177 lb-in).

5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Fill and bleed the diesel powertrain secondary cooling system. For additional information, refer to Engine Cooling System - Secondary Cooling.
