Throttle Body









Removal

1. Remove the Charge Air Cooler (CAC) outlet tube clip and disconnect the CAC (Charge Air Cooler) outlet tube from the Throttle Body (TB).

2. Disconnect the TB (Throttle Body) electrical connector.

3. Remove the 4 bolts and the TB (Throttle Body).
- Remove and discard the TB (Throttle Body) gasket.


Installation

1. Using a new TB (Throttle Body) gasket, install the TB (Throttle Body) and the 4 bolts.
- Tighten the 4 TB (Throttle Body) bolts in a crisscross pattern.

- Tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).

2. Connect the TB (Throttle Body) electrical connector.

3. Install the CAC (Charge Air Cooler) outlet tube clip and connect the CAC (Charge Air Cooler) outlet tube to the Throttle Body (TB).

4. Perform the PCM adaptive value reset for the TB (Throttle Body).
1. Turn the ignition key ON without cranking the engine.

2. Turn the ignition key OFF.

3. Wait 30 seconds for the PCM to reset the adaptive values for the TB (Throttle Body).

4. Start the engine.
