Diagnostic Overview

Normal Operation and Fault Conditions
DTC Fault Trigger Conditions
Pinpoint Test
1. CHECK FOR HIGH VOLTAGE DTCs (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) SET IN OTHER MODULES
1. Ignition ON.
2. Retrieve all continuous DTCs (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) from all modules.
Are high voltage DTCs (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) (e.g. B1317, B1676, P0563) set in more than one module?
2. CHECK THE BATTERY VOLTAGE
1. Turn off all interior/exterior lights and accessories.
2. Start and run the engine at approximately 2,000 RPM (Revolutions Per Minute) for 3 minutes while monitoring the battery voltage.
Does the battery voltage rise to 15.9 volts or higher?
3. RECHECK FOR DTCs (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) U3003:17 or U3003:62
1. Turn the engine off.
2. Ignition ON.
3. Using a scan tool, clear the PAM (Parking Aid Module) DTCs (Diagnostic Trouble Codes).
4. Using a scan tool, perform PAM (Parking Aid Module) self-test.
Is DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code) U3003:17 or U3003:62 present?
