Removal and Installation

1. Disconnect the A-pillar electrical connector.
- Rotate the connector counterclockwise to disconnect.






2. Remove the front door check arm-to-body bolt and reposition the check arm.
- To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).

NOTICE: The following steps require the aid of an assistant. Failure to follow this direction may result in damage to the vehicle.

3. Support the front door.

4. Remove the front door lower hinge-to-door bolts.
- To install, tighten to 28 Nm (21 lb-ft).


5. Remove the front door upper hinge-to-door bolts.
- To install, tighten to 28 Nm (21 lb-ft).


6. Remove the front door.

7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
