Front Fender: Service and Repair




Fender

Removal and Installation

All vehicles

1. With the vehicle in neutral, position it on a hoist.

2. Remove the front bumper cover.

3. Remove the fender moulding.

4. Remove the fender splash shield. For additional information, refer to Fender Splash Shield Fender Splash Shield.

5. Remove the cowl panel grille. For additional information, refer to Cowl Panel Grille .

Driver side

6. Remove the windshield washer bottle.

All vehicles

7. Loosen the rear fender nut.
- To install, tighten to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).


8. Disconnect the turn signal electrical connector.

9. Pull outward to release the mirror trim panel from the vehicle.

10. Remove the 2 front fender front bolts.
- To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).


11. Remove the fender-to-radiator grille opening panel reinforcement bolt.
- To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).


12. Remove the rear lower fender bolt.
- To install, tighten to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).


13. Remove the rear upper fender bolt.
- To install, tighten to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).


14. Remove the fender upper bolts.
- To install, tighten to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).


15. Remove the fender upper rear inner bolt.
- To install, tighten to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).


16. Pull outward and upward to remove the fender.

17. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
