Removal and Installation










1. Remove the door opening weatherstrip that is adjacent to the A-pillar trim panel.

2. Remove the assist handle.
- Remove the 2 assist handle screw covers.

- Remove the 2 assist handle screws.
- To install, tighten to 6 Nm (53 lb-in).

3. Remove the A-pillar trim panel.
- Pull inward on the A-pillar trim panel to release the retaining clips.


4. NOTE: To avoid damage to the A-pillar trim panel, remove any retaining clips from the body and attach them to the A-pillar trim panel before installing.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
