Removal

NOTE: Upward tension on the center safety belt, safety belt buckles and foreign objects can prevent the latches from releasing.

1. Remove the seat(s).
- Place the seat(s) in the cargo position.

- For RH seat, remove the 2 seat mounting bolts.

- For LH seat, remove the 4 seat mounting bolts.


2. To release an inoperative latch, use a suitable tool and pry upward on the release lever.





Installation

1. NOTE: Before installation, make sure the safety belt webbing is not twisted and the safety belts and buckles are accessible to the occupants.
Position the seat(s) in the vehicle and install the 2 or 4 seat mounting bolts.

- Tighten to 47 Nm (35 lb-ft).
