Principles of Operation

The taxi roof lamp switch controls the operation of the taxi roof lamp. The taxi roof lamp switch illuminates when the parking lamps are on.

The customer access block connector serves as the interface between the vehicle circuitry and the electrical equipment used for taxi service. There are various voltage supply circuits, a ground circuit, a circuit for vehicle speed input, circuits for turn signal input and a circuit for customer-installed equipment to turn on the courtesy lamps.
