Turbine Shaft Speed (TSS) Sensor









Removal

1. Remove the battery tray.

2. Remove the Air Cleaner (ACL) assembly.

3. Disconnect the Turbine Shaft Speed (TSS) sensor electrical connector.





4. Remove the TSS (Turbine Shaft Speed) sensor bolt and sensor.
- Check the TSS (Turbine Shaft Speed) sensor bore.






5. Inspect the O-ring seal for nicks or cuts; install a new O-ring if necessary.





Installation

1. Apply a light coat of clean transmission fluid to the O-ring seal before installation.





2. NOTE: Apply thread sealer to the bolt.
Install the TSS (Turbine Shaft Speed) sensor and bolt.

- Tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).






3. Connect the TSS (Turbine Shaft Speed) sensor electrical connector.





4. Install the ACL (Air Cleaner) assembly.

5. Install the battery tray.
