Engine Cover - Removal






REMOVAL





1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect the Mass Air Flow sensor (MAF) (2) harness connectors.
3. Disconnect the intake air pressure sensor (3) harness connectors.
4. Loosen the clamp (1) and disconnect the air cleaner outlet tube from the air cleaner housing (4).
5. Disconnect the air cleaner inlet tube (5).






NOTE: The lock tab is located on the bottom of the terminal.

6. If equipped, release the lock tab and pull up to remove the positive battery terminal lead (1) from the air cleaner housing.





7. Pulling upward to release the front tabs (1) and remove the air cleaner assembly.





8. Remove the bolt (2) and the oil fill tube (1).





9. Remove bolts (2) and the engine cover (1).
