Wiper Motor - Installation

INSTALLATION





1. Install a new rear wiper motor output shaft sealing grommet (4) in the rear door, if necessary.
2. Position the rear wiper motor (5) into the rear door.
3. Install and tighten the screw (6) that secures the motor to the rear door. Tighten the screw to 7 Nm (5 ft. lbs.).
4. Reconnect the washer hose (3) to the fitting on the motor.
5. Reconnect the vehicle wire harness connector (2) to the motor.
6. Reinstall the lower trim panel (7) onto the inside of the rear door. .
7. Reinstall the rear wiper arm and blade (1) onto the rear wiper motor output shaft. .
8. Reconnect the battery negative cable.
