Front A/C Condenser Fan - Installation






INSTALLATION





1. If replacement of a condenser fan is required, proceed to step 2. If replacement of a condenser fan was not required, go to step 5.
2. Position the fan motor (2) being serviced to the back of the fan shroud (5) and install the three retaining screws (3). Tighten the screws securely.
3. Connect the wire harness lead connector (4) to the fan motor being serviced.
4. Install the screen (1) in front of the fan motor being serviced by rotating the screen clockwise until all screen retaining tabs engage the fan shroud. Make sure the retaining tabs are fully engaged.






NOTE: Illustration shown with upper front fascia removed for clarity.

5. Carefully position the A/C condenser fan assembly (2) into the front of the engine compartment.
6. Install the four bolts (1 and 3) that secure the A/C condenser fan assembly to the radiator. Tighten the bolts securely.
7. Connect the wire harness lead (7) to A/C condenser fan assembly.
8. Reposition the power steering cooler (5) and engage the retaining tab (6) to the right side of the A/C condenser fan assembly.
9. install the bolt (4) that secures the power steering cooler to the left side of the A/C condenser fan assembly. Tighten the bolt securely.
10. Install the lower front fascia.
11. Install the grille .
12. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
