Fig. 10 Rear vacuum break adjustment:
1. Attach rubber band to green tang on intermediate choke shaft, the open throttle to allow choke to close.
2. Rotate degree scale until zero is opposite pointer, then with choke valve completely closed, place magnet on top of choke valve and rotate bubble until centered.
3. Rotate gauge to angle specified in Specifications Chart, then seat plunger using an external vacuum source. If equipped with air bleed, plug bleed holes with masking tape. Air valve rod must not restrict plunger from seating. If necessary, bend rod to permit full plunger travel.
4. If equipped with adjusting screw, rotate screw, using a suitable hex wrench, until bubble is centered, Fig. 13. On units less adjusting screw, bend link until bubble is centered as shown.
