Power Door Locks

The Power Door Locks/Remote Keyless Entry control system allow the driver to operate the vehicle Door Locks and Rear Window Release from outside the vehicle using a hand-held radio Transmitter. The Transmitter operates in the UHF band; it sends coded signals to the Remote Control Door Lock Receiver. The Remote Control Door Lock Receiver detects and decodes the signal and issues signals to control the Door Locks and Rear Window Release. These systems can also be operated in the usual manner; for instance, the Door Locks will respond to the Power Door Lock Switches.
