Forward Clutch Piston Travel Check

1. Use feeler gauges to check the forward clutch plate travel. Check travel between the forward clutch backing plate retainer ring and the forward clutch backing plate.
2. The forward clutch plate travel should be 0.75-1.60 mm (0.030-0.063 inch).
3. Select the proper forward clutch backing plate to obtain the correct travel.
