Sliding Door Check Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the side door stepwell mat. Refer to Mat Replacement - Stepwell (Mat Replacement - Stepwell) in Interior Trim.
2. Remove the bolts that retain the check assembly cover.
3. Remove the check assembly cover from the stepwell.




4. Remove the nuts (2) that retain the check assembly (1) to the sliding side door lower track (3).
5. Remove the check assembly (1) from the sliding side door lower track (3).



Installation Procedure





1. Install the check assembly (1) to the sliding side door lower track (3).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the nuts (2) in order to retain the check assembly (1) to the sliding side door lower track (3).

Tighten the retaining nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

3. Install the side door stepwell mat. Refer to Mat Replacement - Stepwell (Mat Replacement - Stepwell) in Interior Trim.
