AUXILIARY HEATER CORE REPLACEMENT









Remove or Disconnect

1. Engine coolant.
2. Negative battery cable.
3. Clamps (76) from the coolant hoses (81 and 82) (figure 17).
4. Coolant hoses (81 and 82) from the heater assembly (74).
5. Studs (68) from the case (62) (figure 16).
6. Screws (73).
7. Cover (57).
8. Wiring harness (67) from the motor (69) and resistor (61).
9. Case (62) from the vehicle.
10. Screws (65).
11. Plate (64) from the case (62).
12. Seal (59).
13. Screws (65).
14. Straps (70).
15. Core (58).


Install or Connect

1. Core (58) to the case (62).
2. Straps (70).
3. Screws (65).
4. Seal (59) to the case (62).
5. Plate (64) to the case (62).
6. Screws (65).
7. Case (62) to the vehicle.
8. Wiring harness (67) to the motor (69) and the resistor (61).
9. Cover (57).
10. Screws (73).
11. Coolant hoses (81 and 82) to the heater assembly (74) (figure 17).
12. Clamps (76) to the coolant hoses (81 and 82).
13. Studs (68) to the case (62) (figure 16).
14. Negative battery cable.
15. Engine coolant.
16. Check for leaks.
