Compressor Replacement

A/C Compressor Mounting:






REMOVE OR DISCONNECT


1. Negative battery cable.

2. Discharge and recover refrigerant from the system.

3. Drive belt.

4. Electrical connectors as necessary.

5. Compressor and condenser hose assembly.

6. Compressor bolt nuts.

7. Compressor bolts.

8. Compressor from bracket.


INSTALL OR CONNECT

1. Compressor into bracket.

NOTICE: For steps 2 and 3, refer to"Fasteners" under "Vehicle Damage Warnings."


2. Compressor bolts.

3. Compressor bolt nuts.

- Tighten nuts to 33 Nm (24 lbs. ft.).

4. Compressor and condenser hose assembly.

5. Electrical connectors, as necessary.

6. Drive belt.

7. Negative battery cable.

8. Refrigerant to the system.

9. Check the system for leaks.
