Manifold Pressure/Vacuum Sensor: Service and Repair

NOTE: Other than checking for loose hoses and electrical connections, the only service possible is unit replacement, if the diagnosis shows the sensor to be faulty.

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect the vacuum harness assembly.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector releasing locking tab.
4. Remove the bolts or release lock tabs and remove the sensor.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the bolts or snap sensor on bracket.
2. Connect the electrical connector.
3. Connect the vacuum harness.
4. Connect the negative battery cable.
