Brake Rotor/Disc: Description and Operation

Brake rotors have a minimum thickness dimension cast into them. This dimension is the minimum wear dimension and not a refinish dimension. A rotor that has a thickness less than the minimum wear dimension will not have the proper heat transfer capabilities.
