Power Window Switch: Service and Repair

Description:

Remove or Disconnect
1. Negative battery cable.
2. Hush panels and knee bolster below steering column.
3. Four mounting nuts for steering column. Lower column.
4. Trim bezel around instrument cluster and switch panel.
5. Four screws retaining switch panel.
6. Electrical connector from back of switch.
7. Depress lock tabs at four corners of the switch to remove it from the trim plate.

Install or Connect
1. Switch to trim plate.
2. Electrical connector to switch.
3. Four screws retaining switch panel to the I/P
4. Trim bezel to the I/P.
5. Steering column to I/P.

Tighten
^ Four steering column mounting nuts to 27 N.m (20 lb ft).

6. Hush panels and knee bolster below steering column.
7. Negative battery cable.
