Fluid - Transfer Case: Service and Repair

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Place a drain pan under the drain plug.
3. Drain plug.
- Allow the oil to drain.
4. Fill plug.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Drain plug
- Tighten drain plug to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
2. Oil.
- Fill transfer case until the oil level is at the bottom of fill plug hole.
3. Fill plug.
- Tighten fill plug to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
4. Lower the vehicle.
