Shift Interlock: Service and Repair

Automatic Transmission Shift Lock Actuator Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the console.





2. Disconnect the Shift lock actuator (3) electrical connector.





3. Remove the Shift lock actuator manual release lever.





4. Remove the Shift lock actuator fasteners and remove the Shift lock actuator.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the Shift lock actuator to the Shift selector and install the fasteners.





2. Install the Shift lock actuator manual release lever.





3. Connect the electrical connector (3).





4. Install the console.
