Latch Replacement - Removable Rear Window

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the removable window panel.
2. Remove the trim panel (1) along the rear of the headliner.
3. Remove the latch retaining bolts.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector (2) from the latch.
5. Remove the latch from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. Connect the electrical connector (2) to the latch.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the latch retaining bolts.

Tighten the bolts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

3. Install the trim panel (1).
4. Install the removable window panel.
