Cruise Control Module: Service and Repair



CRUISE CONTROL MODULE REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the upper fender brace bolts.
2. Remove the upper fender brace.




3. Disconnect the cruise control module electrical connector.




4. Remove the cruise control module nuts.
5. Disconnect the cruise control cable from the module.
6. Remove the cruise control module.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the cruise control module.
2. Connect the cruise control cable to the cruise control module.




3. Install the cruise control module nuts.

Tighten the nuts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.




4. Connect the cruise control module electrical connector.




5. Install the upper fender brace.
6. Install the upper fender brace bolts.

Tighten the bolts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
