LIFTGATE LOCK STRIKER REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Open the liftgate.
2. Mark the location of the striker with a grease pencil for installation purposes.




3. Remove the bolts from the liftgate striker.
4. Remove the liftgate striker from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Align the striker to the marks made in the removal procedure.

2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice.

Install the liftgate striker bolts.

Tighten the liftgate striker retaining bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

3. Check the liftgate closing efforts and align striker as required.
4. Close the liftgate.
