Transfer Case Gear Indicator Switch Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the transfer case shield, if equipped.
2. Disconnect the gear indicator switch electrical connector (2).




3. Remove the gear indicator switch.

Installation Procedure





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

1. Install the gear indicator switch.

Tighten the switch to 27 N.m (20 lb ft).




2. Connect the gear indicator switch electrical connector (2).
3. Install the transfer case shield, if equipped.
