Transmission Fluid Filler Tube and Seal Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Unlock the transmission oil level indicator.
2. Remove the transmission oil level indicator.
3. Remove the transmission.




4. Remove the oil level indicator tube (1).
5. Remove the seal (2) from the transmission.

Installation Procedure




1. Install a NEW seal (2) to the indicator tube.
2. Install the oil level indicator tube (1).
3. Install the transmission.
4. Lower the vehicle.
5. Check the transmission fluid level.




6. Install the transmission oil level indicator.
7. Lock the transmission oil level indicator.
